General Flood Advisory Under present weather conditions, At 3:00 PM today, the center of Typhoon "INDAY" {BAVI} was estimated based on all available data at 520 km East Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (21.9°N, 126.7°E) with maximum sustained winds of 140 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 170 km/h. It is moving North Northwestward at 20 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Central and Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The 12-hour rainfall forecast is Light to occasionally moderate rains and thunderstorms. WATERCOURSES LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED : + **Leyte** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Sangputan, Palo, Solano (Quilot), Daguitan Marabang, Cadac-an, Bongquirogon, Salug, Pagbangahan, Pagsangahan and Binahaan. + **Biliran** - All rivers and its tributaries + **Eastern Samar** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Oras, Dolores, Ulot, Taft, Borongan, Suribao, Llorente, Balangiga and Sulat. + **Northern Samar** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Catarman, Bugko, Pambujan, Catubig, Palapag, Mawo and Gamay. + **Southern Leyte** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Bisay, Himbangan and Pandan. + **Samar** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Basey, Silanga, Calbiga and Jibatan. People living near the mountain slopes and in the low lying areas of the above mentioned river systems and the **Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils** concerned still advised to take necessary precautionary measures.
