Thunderstorms have developed over portions of southwestern Manitoba which will continue to track east towards the Red River Valley this evening. The main threat associated with these thunderstorms is large hail, however, an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. ### Large hail can damage property and cause injury. Remember, severe thunderstorms can produce tornadoes. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
