Flood Watch issued June 4 at 3:58AM CDT until June 5 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Duluth MN * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...In Minnesota, Crow Wing, Pine and South Aitkin Counties and Wisconsin, Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Iron, Price, Sawyer and Washburn Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band, the St. Croix Band in Burnett County, the Bad River Reservation, the Red Cliff Band, the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation and the Mille Lacs Band, Hinckley, Lena Lake and, East Lake areas. Recreation spots such as Madeline Island and the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. * WHEN...From 1 PM CDT this afternoon through Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Heavy rainfall Sunday night into Monday morning over the watch area has led to water level increases in area creeks and streams and moist soils.
