severe thunderstorm warning in effect At 9:00 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking an area of severe thunderstorms capable of producing strong wind gusts, pea to dime size hail and heavy rain. The area is located northwest of Saint-Léonard-de-Portneuf and heading east southeast. ### Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall. Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches. Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!
