severe thunderstorm warning in effect At 10:08 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking an area of severe thunderstorms capable of producing strong wind gusts, pea to dime size hail and heavy rain. The area is located between Saint-Gabriel-de-Valcartier and Saint-Basile and is heading east southeast. ### Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall. Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches. Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year. Remember, when thunder roars, go indoors!
