General Flood Advisory Under present weather conditions, At 4:00 PM today, the center of Typhoon "FRANCISCO" {MEKKHALA} was estimated based on all available data at 625 km East of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan (17.9°N, 126.7°E) with maximum sustained winds of 175 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 215 km/h. It is moving West Northwestward at 20 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Palawan,Visayas, and Mindanao. The 12-hour rainfall forecast is Scattered light to occasionally moderate rains and thunderstorms. WATERCOURSES LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED : + **South Cotabato** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Siquil, Makar and Banga. + **Sultan Kudarat** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Tian and Kraan. + **Sarangani** - Rivers and its tributaries particularly Kalaong, Buayan-Malungon, Lun Padido, Lun Masla and Glan. + **North Cotabato** - All rivers and its tributaries People living near the mountain slopes and in the low lying areas of the above mentioned river systems and the **Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils** concerned still advised to take necessary precautionary measures.
