Flood Watch issued June 21 at 11:04AM MDT until June 22 at 12:00AM MDT by NWS Pueblo CO Rainfall over the past 24 hours has lead to saturated soils and full creeks and streams early this morning over the San Juan Mountains. Rain and thunderstorm chances today will bring the potential for an additional 1 to 2 inches of new rainfall to already saturated soils, which could lead to flash flooding in flood prone areas. * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of south central Colorado, including the following area, Eastern San Juan Mountains Above 10000 Feet. * WHEN...Through this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - 0.5 inches to 1 inch of rain has already fallen in this area, with an additional 1 to 2 inches of rain expected this afternoon and this evening. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
