Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 21 at 2:19AM EDT until September 22 at 2:00PM EDT by NWS Melbourne FL * WHAT...Minor coastal flooding. * WHERE...Coastal Indian River, Saint Lucie, Martin, and Southern Brevard Counties. * WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Some flooding of low-lying lots, parks and roadways may occur near the shoreline. Only isolated road closures are expected. Water may reach the dune line or sea wall along vulnerable beaches. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High tides this weekend will occur in the late morning and late evening hours. There is also a moderate risk of life-threatening rip currents. Onshore winds and above normal tides will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
