Some rural roads near the river begin to flood. Very minor flooding begins in Winnemucca with storm drain backups, and the lowest parts of town begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:15 AM PDT Sunday the stage was 10.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 8.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2:15 AM PDT Sunday was 10.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Tuesday afternoon and continue falling to 8.5 feet Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 9.5 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 10.1 feet on 07/03/2011. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
