HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, pea size hail and excessive lightning. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, Sanford, Pittsboro, Garner, Carrboro, Fuquay-Varina, and Goldston. This thunderstorm is producing an excessive amount of deadly cloud to ground lightning. Seek shelter indoors and stay away from windows.
