Flood Advisory issued July 19 at 2:16PM EDT until July 19 at 5:15PM EDT by NWS Morristown TN * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Eastern Hawkins County in east Tennessee... Western Sullivan County in east Tennessee... South Central Scott County in southwestern Virginia... * WHEN...Until 515 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 216 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
