Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued July 27 at 9:31AM CDT until July 27 at 10:00AM CDT by NWS Green Bay WI At 931 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles northwest of Algoma, or 11 miles southwest of Sturgeon Bay, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. This severe thunderstorm will be near... Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal Light around 955 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by the severe thunderstorm include Kolberg, Forestville, Brussels, Maplewood, Carnot, Vignes and Clay Banks. Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large hail.
