Northern Marinette County in northeastern Wisconsin... * Until 1000 AM CDT. * At 906 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 5 miles northwest of Tipler to 9 miles east of Crystal Lake Scout Reservation, or along a line from 26 miles east of Eagle River to 9 miles east of Rhinelander, moving southeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * This severe thunderstorm will be near... Rhinelander around 910 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by the severe thunderstorm include Starks, Gagen, Bastile Lake Natural Area, Popple River Headwaters Natural Area, Stevens Lake Campground, Hiles, Roosevelt, Scott Lake-Shelp Lake Natural Area, Newald and Long Lake. Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing widespread damaging winds and large hail.
